Meet Missy, our 3.5-year-old Wilderness Search and Rescue powerhouse. She’s an independent, high-energy air-scent machine with absolutely no “off” switch when it comes to finding people. Whether she’s brilliantly solving complex scent puzzles on a mission or chasing her tail on the family farm, she’s the ultimate partner who always gets the job done — especially if a hamburger is waiting for her at the end.

Missy once had to stop searching a task area so she could have her picture taken with the person she found — they insisted they had to have a photo of a search-and-rescue K9!

Running the fields on the farm with the rest of her family.

Chasing her tail around and around until she falls over.
What has your K9 taught the team?
To read her changes of behavior when she’s in human scent, to work through different lost-subject scenarios, and to trust and rely on your furry scent-seeking partner.
